dead and gone--the black keys
i'll admit, i've never been a big black keys fans. maybe because their songs are overplayed like crazy. i've had all of their albums on my computer for the longest time, but never given them a good listen thru. when i heard they were one of the bands headlining lolla on friday, i was planning on splitting my time between black sabbath and bassnectar, with maybe a stopover at their stage for a bit. the people i was with wanted to see black keys tho, so i rolled with it. i gotta say, i appreciate them much more now. it was such a good live show, they really rocked it out. even though i may have been sick of some of their songs before...seeing them play live and singing along was tons of fun. since lolla, i've been listening to el camino a lot. this is one of my faves
