this is why lindsay and i are bffs

(talking about possibly running a marathon)
-yea i could totally run a marathon, i just need to get some new shoes. it's the shoes that are holding me back from being an awesome runner
-a marathon? shouldn't we start with something a little smaller? like a half marathon maybe?
-ok we will start with a 5k. that's like 3ish miles. no wait that is way too long
-do they have 1k's?
-that's basically walking from your car to the registration area
-riight but at least we could finish it! we would be so proud of ourselves for finishing something
-true, let's start training. but maybe let's start training by doing an eating competition first. we could for sure finish that. then we would really increase our confidence and stuff.
-yes. consuming massive amounts of food is definitely a good way to train for a marathon. when can we start?

i'll leave it to you to figure out who said what. i don't even remember, we are kind of the same person. but for reals: i would like to train for something. someone help! where do i start??
